Mr.C.Premnath is an Engineer by qualification and has donned the roles of a Technocrat, Consultant, Businessman, Educator and an Administrator across many years of experience in industry and educational settings. He was also a teacher and administrator at The Valley School. He has played several roles in the long history of the Kaigal Education and Environment Program and has been engaged in all aspects of the work since its conception to implementation. Premnath works very closely with the livelihood program team, training and guiding them on processes of planning, sales, delivery and record keeping, besides providing overall direction to the work of the organization.
Krishnan has been – serially, over 45 years - an engineer, entrepreneur, consultant and educationist. His core areas of industry experience have been in the use of technology in banking and financial services and driving process efficiencies and project implementation making effective use of technology. Joining The Valley School to teach Physics, he moved on to teaching subjects he wanted to learn and has also been the head of the school and the head of the teacher’s resource centre. Krishnan mentors the team working in the livelihood program – supporting them in the design of efficient processes, planning, marketing and financial management besides providing overall direction to the work of the organization.
Sriranjani Ranganathan has over two decades of experience in the education and corporate sectors, her passion for education leading her to the social sector. She is a founder member of The Learning Network, an initiative to bring together educators across the country for sharing and learning. Sriranjani taught high school and junior school at The Valley School, (KFI), an experience she regards as having transformed her approach to education. She has worked extensively with the public education system in teacher development programs and has served on state and national curriculum committees. She is also a trained Early Childhood Educator and her dream job is to work with young children. She has been involved with the Kaigal program since 2009 supporting various activities and now leads the overall operations. Read more
