DRY NEEM FLOWER CHUTNEY POWDER
This Chutney Powder can be mixed with hot cooked rice and had with perhaps some fried Kaigal Sago Sandige as a side-dish to go with it. It can also make a good side-dish by itself with curd rice.

- 2 tsp Dry Neem flowers
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 1 cup Toor Dal
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 2 tsp Green Curry leaves
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Ghee or Cooking oil
Sauté the mustard seeds till it splutters completely
Add curry leaves and toor dal. Sauté in low flame until it turns light brown in colour.
Add pepper and neem flower and roast it until you get a mild aroma of the flower.
Take it off the stove. Add salt, and mix it .
Grind the mix after it cools to a fine powder.
