DRY NEEM FLOWER CHUTNEY POWDER
This Chutney Powder can be mixed with hot cooked rice and had with perhaps some fried Kaigal Sago Sandige as a side-dish to go with it. It can also make a good side-dish by itself with curd rice.
Equipment
- Mixie (Dry grinder)
Ingredients
- 2 tsp Dry Neem flowers
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 1 cup Toor Dal
- 1 tsp Pepper
- 2 tsp Green Curry leaves
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Ghee or Cooking oil
Instructions
- Sauté the mustard seeds till it splutters completely
- Add curry leaves and toor dal. Sauté in low flame until it turns light brown in colour.
- Add pepper and neem flower and roast it until you get a mild aroma of the flower.
- Take it off the stove. Add salt, and mix it .
- Grind the mix after it cools to a fine powder.
